Although not a prerequisite, it is recommended that participants have previously completed the GRI Certified Reporting Standards Expert Training.

It covers the latest trends in sustainability reporting, including the concepts necessary to understand the differences between the various tools within the ecosystem. The training provides an overview of the main sustainability reporting tools, including GRI Standards, European Sustainability Reporting Standards, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, the US SEC Climate Disclosure Rule, TCFD recommendations, and TNFD recommendations. The training also explains how these tools can be used together with GRI Standards to enhance reporting effectiveness by examining the alignment between them.
